  • You are 23.5 inches long.
  • You have very little hair
  • Your favorite toy is Tigger. You love to eat his head.
  • You are starting to show an interest in food, so we may start solids soon.
  • You are starting to outgrow your 0-3 month clothes and move into 3-6 month.
  • You have mastered the belly laugh. And love to share it with us.
  • You are LOVED. Loved my me. By daddy. and By your Big Sisters.

I was semi-childless this weekend.

So I spent the Weekend cleaning.

The big monkeys were with their grandparents. It was supposed to rain all day Saturday, so I just made plans to stay in.

I actually accomplished a lot. Unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher.

AND about 12 loads of laundry. Yeah -- I was that far behind. You can actually see my laundry room floor again. And my hampers are empty.

However, I didn't get it all folded. So that will be my task tonight.

Wii Wii Wii

I'm about to start dinner and I've got Calleigh in my lap listening to the older girls argue about what game to play on the Wii.

And yes I'm being That mama who makes them work it out on their own

Things I love ... around my home

it's tuesday

which means another round of two things i love... around my home!

Visit BacWoods Fern for more things we bloggers love.

This is my first time with this meme. So without further ado...

I love my baby hammock. Miss Calleigh sleeps SO well in it. It takes up very little space and keeps me sane some nights.

And........

Bunk beds. Makes it so simple sometimes. They can sleep seperate. They can sleep together. They are OUT of my bed most of the time!

bits of wisdom

Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing. ~Phyllis Diller

I dread housework. Its not that I actually dislike cleaning. Its that I know just as soon as I clean the living room, the kitchen will be a disaster area.

And don't get me started on laundry. I swear it multiplies like bunnies in the hamper on an hourly basis.

Waiting...

Waiting. Waiting.

Right now, I'm waiting on a return call from Isabella's doctor regarding her MRI results. Hope to hear soon.

A little about US

Daddy works at Xerox as a deployment specialist. (Don't ask what that is -- I lose track in teh explanation) So we'll just sum it up to say it involves computers. And more than being able to use one!

Mommy stays home with the girls most days and helps out when needed at the ILs office.

Monkey #1 Caitlyn will turn 6 in March. She's in kindergarten this year and loving it. Caity has VUR and a neurogenic bladder. As such, we visit ACH at least 2-3 times a year.

Monkey #2 Isabella will turn 3 in March. She's a little spit fire trouble maker. We joke that her name is IR trouble! Her initals are I R. She was recently diagnosed with an epileptic seizure problem. We are still hammering out hte details for a final diagnosis.

Monkey #3 Calleigh was born in August 09. She's a sweet baby. She's my little ball of joy most days.

We also have 3 cats.

New blog

We've been through a lot the past year. And I was unable to blog through most of it. I've also had a lot of spamming done on my blog while I was offline. I decided as such that instead of continuing with the old blog -- I'd start fresh. Anew. And thus The Johnson 5 was born.

I am going to strive to post at least weekly to the blog, but we'll see what time allows.
